Catherine Agnes (Peter) Fischer

On Wednesday, November 27, 2024, Catherine Fischer, passed away peacefully at the age of 92. She was predeceased by her husband, Rudi Fischer. She is lovingly remembered by her daughters; Andrea and Heather (Shaun), granddaughter Izzy, brother Bill (Rosie), nephew Graham (Brenda), niece Carol (Derek) of Scotland; nephews Ken (Debbie), Rob of Canada and many nieces and nephews in Germany. Born in Echt, Scotland, Catherine came to Canada in 1958 where she met Rudi and married in 1965. They moved to Nelson in 1966 where they started a family and a business (Fischer Motors). Catherine was an avid hiker and skier and was always up for an adventure. She will be remembered for her strength and kindness. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the BC Heart and Stroke foundation.

A Memorial Service will be held in the spring of 2025.
