On July 15, 2025, Carolyn passed away peacefully with her loving husband, Ken by her side at Queen Victoria Hospital.
Born in Vancouver on October 22, 1942, Carolyn moved with her young family from Vancouver to Revelstoke in the winter of 1972, a winter that many will remember for its record snowfall.
Carolyn quickly became involved in the community through many volunteer activities such as minor baseball and the bowling club. She continued throughout her life to give back to the community, most recently, volunteering for many years at the Hospital Auxiliary Thrift Store and the Vintage Car Club.
Carolyn spent many years working for the Revelstoke School District and somehow found the time during those years to return to the actual classroom to complete her high school education.
She and Ken enjoyed many road trips to visit family or just for the adventure. They also looked forward to trips together to car shows with the car club or just different community fairs.
Carolyn is survived by her husband; Ken, her sons; Les (Debbie), Jeff (Elaine), stepdaughter; Tracey (Ed), her grandchildren; Carleigh (Garrett), Christi (Tyler), step-grandchildren; Kyle and Mary as well as many great grandchildren who were truly the light of her life.
The family would like to thank Dr. Batchelor, Dr. Rennie, Dr. Brown, Dr. Molder and all of the nurses that helped to care for Carolyn.
At her request, Carolyn will not have a funeral. A celebration of life will be held for family and friends at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Hospital Auxiliary Thrift Store.
We will all see you one day GG, “Til then, give Heaven some hell”.
