Bryan Miller Obituary

It is with extreme sadness, that we announce the sudden passing of Bryan Miller at his home in Golden, B.C. on April 1, 2025.

Bryan Dana Miller loudly announced arrival shortly after 5 am on October 21, 1957, to Lillie and Chris Miller of Golden, B.C.    Thereafter he was for a while rather quiet and independent.  He then became very active and known for wild antics such as scaling walls.   Bryan initially went to school in Nicholson, B.C. until he was in Grade 7 then he was bused into Golden.

His interest in cars started when he was washing dishes at Husky Service Station. When done with dishes, he would bet truckers he could change their tires before they finished eating.  He won.  That love of cars and helping people, with their cars, was especially important to him and continued through his life.  His customers truly appreciated him.

The only thing that eclipsed his love of cars – was his family and friends.  He loved and valued them.  He was a kind, caring, and compassionate and truly treasured these relationships throughout his life.  Bryan’s life motto ran something like:  born to golf and forced to work – he truly loved the sport.

Bryan especially held dear – his son Adam; grandson Christopher and his life partner:  Chrissy Wenzoski.  Bryan’s son Adam was his pride and joy, who also inherited the love of cars and everything mechanical.  It’s a bit too soon to tell if Bryan’s grandson, Christopher will be mechanical, but at 4 years he is a going concern.  Bryan met the love of his life Chrissy, and they have been thick as thieves ever since.

Bryan’s memory lives on through his son Adam, Grandson Christopher, life partner Chrissy; Mom – Lillie Miller; siblings:  Kelly Johnson, Wayne (Carol) Miller, Holly Plenderleith, numerous nieces and nephews then his work family: nephew Brandon Miller, and Beate Sutter; along with numerous cousins, aunts and uncles.    Bryan is predeceased by his Father Chris Miller, Bill and Betty Shannon; also, long time friend and mentor:  Walter Sutter.

A celebration of life will be held at the Mount 7 Rec plex, on May 17th, 2025, at 2:00 p.m.
