Bryan Keith Johnson passed away August 14, 2025 at the age of 64. Born May 4, 1961 in High River Alberta, Bryan was the eldest of three siblings born to Winston and Virginia Johnson.
Bryan’s first nine years were in Bindloss, Alberta. In 1970 Bryan’s parents moved the family to Salmon Arm where Bryan completed his junior and senior schooling. Bryan’s athletic and musical abilities were developed with little effort in the Shuswap. Waterskiing, hockey, fishing, boating, playing guitar and drums was where he spent a lot of his time.
He married Kymme Steiner in 1984 and began raising a family in Fort Saint John while cementing his career in the oil industry. Bryan and Kymme had two children, Kody and Daileen at this time. He could not have been prouder of that.
Bryan was a giving man who spoke well of others. He loved his family and his retirement years afforded him more time with his family as well as time fishing and cruising in his ’67 Camaro with his dog Earl.
Bryan was predeceased by his mother Virginia Johnson. The family left so deeply missing Bryan are his father Winston Johnson of Salmon Arm, daughter Daileen Johnson (Dave Ackerman) of Fort Saint John, son Kody Johnson (Tori Brohm) of Sylvan Lake, Grandchildren Tyla, Eason, Hunter, and Remi, sister Barbara (Robert) Favell of Horsefly, and Brother Chris (Gayle) Johnson of Salmon Arm.
The family invite all who are able to attend a Come and Go Tea at Bowers Funeral Chapel, Friday August 22, 2025 at 2:30 pm.
May you be at rest in the arms of the Lord in paradise today our dear, dear one.
