In Loving Memory of Audrey (Aukje) Muller

November 17, 1934 – June 2, 2026

Audrey Muller was called to her eternal home on June 2, 2026, at the age of 91. A devoted Christian who loved the Lord, Audrey lived a life marked by faith, compassion, and service to others.

Born on November 17, 1934, in Brunssum, The Netherlands, Audrey was the youngest of nine children. On December 16, 1955, she married the love of her life, Kornelis Muller. Together they built a loving home and shared over 42 years of marriage until Kornelis passed away on December 30, 1997, at the age of 70.

Audrey and Kornelis made their home in Thunder Bay, Ontario, where they raised their family. Audrey was a loving wife, devoted mother, and caring foster parent to many children over the years. Her nurturing spirit touched countless lives.

In the spring of 1980, Audrey and Kornelis sold the family farm and moved to Salmon Arm, British Columbia. There, she continued her work as a foster parent, caring for children with special needs. Audrey was also an active volunteer in her community, generously giving her time to the Shuswap Hospice Society.

In 2016, Audrey moved to Piccadilly Terrace, where she enjoyed many years of friendship and care. As her health declined, she moved into full care at Hillside Village where she remained until her passing.

Audrey leaves behind her beloved children: Peter(Marilyn), Lucille(Ric), Edy(Dave), Dirk(Rita), Glenda(Bill), Corinne(Steve), Raymon(Zana), Lori-Ann(Bill), and Elizabeth, as well as her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, all of whom brought her immense joy and pride.

Audrey peacefully entered eternal rest just five months shy of her 92nd birthday. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who were blessed to know her. Her faith, kindness, and unwavering love will remain an enduring legacy for generations to come.
