Wayne Nabe of Salmon Arm, B.C. passed away on Saturday, June 28, 2025 at the age of 81 years.
Wayne leaves to cherish his memory, his wife Jeanette Peterson of Calgary, AB, his daughter Tracey (Keith) Murray of Calgary, AB, his son Collin Nabe of Red Deer, AB, one grandson Leo Murray, one sister Elsie Ellaser of Yorkton, SK, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Wayne was pre-deceased by his parents Leah and Godfred Nabe, four brothers and one sister.
Wayne was born on December 6, 1943 at Kamsask, SK, and he was raised on the family farm by Togo, SK. He later moved to Langenburg with his mother to finish school.
Wayne went into the electrical trade at Moose Jaw, SK, becoming a journeyman and later a master electrician. He worked in several places in Saskatchewan.
Wayne and Jeanette married on March 2, 1968. They lived in several places before settling in Vernon, B.C. for many years. Wayne loved spending time with family and friends, and he loved the great outdoors in Vernon and Salmon Arm.
A remembrance prayer service was held at Bower's Funeral Chapel on July 7, 2025. Interment will be placed in Salmon Arm, B.C.
Memorial gifts in Wayne's memory may be made to the charity of one’s choice. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Bower's Funeral Home.
