Amanda was born on October 21, 1926, in Herbert, Saskatchewan. She was predeceased by her parents, five siblings, and two husbands.
She is lovingly remembered by her daughter, Sarah Gilchuk (Allen) of Kamloops, BC; her son, John Bell (Lynn) of Red Deer, Alberta; her grandchildren, Didi, Shawn, Curtis, and Carey; and her great-grandchildren, Meagan, Michelle, Bradley, Ryan, Bryan, and Savanah.
Amanda married John Henry Bell on March 17, 1947. She worked for many years as a presser at Sterling Cleaners in Red Deer, Alberta. In her younger years, she loved sewing, making wine, and gardening.
On December 23, 1971, Amanda married Elmer Wium in Prince George, BC. After Elmer’s retirement, they moved to the Salmon Arm area. They shared a wonderful 35-year marriage together.
