THIESSEN, Harry W. passed away on June 9, 2010 in ShuswapLakeGeneralHospital, Salmon Arm, BC after a long battle with C.O.P.D.
Harry had a long successful career in the marine industry retiring as a BC Coast Pilot in 1999. Formerly from the lower mainland, Harry and his wife had lived in Sorrento, BC since 2003, but enjoyed spending the winters with friends and family in Vancouver’s West End.
Harry made an impression on everyone he met and will be greatly missed by all. Harry is survived by his wife, Colleen; son, Tyler; daughters, Lorie and Dusty and step-daughter, Charmaine; as well as grandchildren, Michael, Anthony and Michelle and great granddaughter, Nevaeh. A celebration of Harry’s life will be held on Saturday, June 19th from 1:00 to 4:00 pm at the North Delta Inn, 11920 – 70th Ave., Delta, BC.
