HOOKER, Eileen- Nov 11,1917 - May 25, 2010
Eileen Clara Hooker passed away at Herron Grove Cottage 4, VernonBC on May 25, 2010 at the age of 92.
Eileen was predeceased by her loving husband, (Bill)William (1982) and brother Monty Jones. She is lovingly remembered by her two sons, Jim (Mary)Hooker of Australia, Cliff (Doreen)Hooker of Nanton, Alberta and her daughter Valerie(Ralph)Bailey of Winfield B.C.
Also mourning her loss are her grandchildren: Todd, Trevor, Terrina, Tyler, Tamara, Karen, Wendy, Meredith, Kate, James, Paula and Richard, 16 great grandchildren, 2 great, great grandchildren, 1 sister Dorothy Reedman now of Kamloops and many other numerous family and friends.
She touched our lives with the gift of laughter and love from the bottom of her heart. She will always be remembered for her generosity and abundance of wafer cookies for her guests. :)
Many people have been touched by Eileen's friendship and kindness.
Her family extends many thanks to the kind and caring nursing staff at the Herron Grove Home, who made Eileen's last days comfortable and peaceful.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, May 31, 2010 at 2:00 pm at Bowers Funeral Services 440 – 10th Street SW Salmon Arm BC.
