David Andrew Brina Catcher passed away peacefully in Bastion Place, Salmon Arm, BC in the early hours of Tuesday, May 4, 2010 at the age of 82 years.
    The funeral service was held from the chapel of Bowers Funeral Home on Thursday afternoon, May 6th at 2 p.m. with Pastor John Kappes officiating.
    Interment followed in Mt. Ida Cemetery, Salmon Arm, with a reception by the church Ladies in the Mountainside room at Bowers.
    Born in Bigwood, Ontario on March 12, 1928, Dave loved working with wood and his hands, this created a lifetime of work, and hobbies connected with wood. He was active well into his senior years.
    Dave is survived by his wife Lotty of Bastion Place; his 5 children, Robert (Joanne) of Wiarton, Ontario, Matthew (Sandra) of Shallow Lake, Ontario, Kimberley (Karen) of Toronto, Randy (Betty) of Edmonton, Roxanne (Alan) Bunt of Busby, Alberta, Kathy of Nova Scotia; Lotty’s children, Elaine (Roy) Dyer of Fort St. James, Carol (Bert) DePaoli of Washington State, USA, Laurie (Josi) Bater of Terrace, Heather (Bob) Cline of Vanderhoof, Les (Brenda) Bater of Williams Lake; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; also two sisters, Eva Cross of Calgary, Pat James of Milton, Ontario; two brothers, John of Orangeville, Ontario and Christopher of Priceville, Ontario.
